The Buffalo Bills’ depth at running back could be further depleted after tests revealed rookie Karlos Williams sustained a concussion. General manager Doug Whaley disclosed Williams’ injury Tuesday during his radio show on Buffalo’s WGR-AM. Whaley says tests showed the concussion on Monday, a day after Williams complained of not feeling well following a 24-10 loss to the New York Giants.

New Miami Dolphins coach Dan Campbell believes his underachieving team needs to show more aggressiveness that stops just short of dirty play, and he looks forward to breaking up a few fights in practice. Joe Philbin he’s not – which was the motive for the Dolphins’ coaching change Monday. Owner Stephen Ross fired Philbin four games into his fourth season, and one day after a flop on an international stage helped seal his fate.

Andrew Luck’s prognosis for Thursday night’s game is still under wraps, and that’s how the Colts plan to keep it. After missing his first NFL game Sunday because of an injured right shoulder, the Indianapolis quarterback returned to a light practice Monday and felt well enough to lob two short screen passes to running backs during the portion open to reporters. Apparently, that was all coach Chuck Pagano needed to be convinced Luck was on the mend.

What the hell did we see this past Saturday night?

The third preseason game of the year is usually a good indicator of how good or bad a team will do in the regular season. For years, die-hard Bills fans had the mantra “It’s only preseason…it’s only preseason,” while others shook their heads in disgust saying “oh great, here we go again, another crappy season!” Over the past fifteen years, the Bills were usually eliminated from the playoffs…

Are the Bills in QB “hell” ?

Bills GM Doug Whaley said the Bills are in “QB Purgatory”. Unfortunately as the season pans out, there may be a possibility that they could be someplace else, someplace much worse.
Entering into the third preseason game Coach Rex Ryan called the QB race even, that surprisingly all three have played at a high level.
While some teams may consider this a nice problem to have, the flip side says…

Bills QB competition down to two?

It seems like one of the three Bills QB’s is falling out of the QB competition. Third year QB, EJ Manuel, for a second week in a row has not seen any reps with the starting unit. The last time Manuel had reps with the one’s was in the Bills Blue and White scrimmage. Since then, veteran QB Matt Cassel took a majority of the reps with the one’s as he was named the starter for the first preseason…

Will the real Bills QB please stand up?!

This offseason, the Bills brought in free agent QB Tyrod Taylor and traded with the Minnesota Vikings for Matt Cassel to compete with E.J. Manuel for the starting Bills QB position. So far, nobody has separated themselves from each other as each QB has struggled with consistency. In Saturday’s scrimmage, Manuel looked the best out of the three QB’s followed by Taylor and Cassel. In today’s…

Is the “Flutie Curse” over with?

In January 2000, then Buffalo Bills owner, Ralph Wilson, made the call to then Bills HC Wade Phillips to have Rob Johnson become the starting QB for the Bills in the playoffs after he saw Johnson play well in a meaningless game 16 for the Bills. Former starting Bills QB, Doug Flutie was told by Phillips that he was only being benched for game 16 so he was rested for the playoffs, only to have the…

New Bills owners, new Buffalo Bills

The 2015 NFL offseason has been a different one for the Buffalo Bills. This is the first full offseason for the Bills without their founder and original owner, Ralph Wilson who passed away in March 2014, and first offseason for new Bills owners Kim and Terry Pegula. The Pegula’s first big move in the offseason was hiring a big name coach, Rex Ryan. The last time the Bills hired a big name coach…

2014, the season of “What if’s” for the Buffalo Bills

The 2014 season was a season of should’ve, could’ve and what if’s for the Buffalo Bills.

What if Kyle Orton started from Week 1, would the Bills be in the playoffs?
What if Kyle Orton was a Bill throughout training camp and preseason, would he have been more effective?
The Bills should’ve beaten the Chiefs and Texans
If the Bills had a better QB, they could’ve been in the playoffs
If the Bills…
