Chancellor (groin) and Okung (calf) were held out of practice Friday and are listed as questionable. ”(Chancellor)’s banged up a little bit. He’ll be worked out on game day to see if he’s ready to go,” head coach Pete Carroll said.

Raiders may be without starting CB Carlos Rogers (Yahoo Sports)

The Oakland Raiders are expected to be without cornerback Carlos Rogers for Sunday’s game against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. It’s another blow to the NFL’s 31st-ranked defense, which has been plagued by injuries and poor play. The winless Raiders have already lost three defensive starters – defensive end LaMarr Woodley, middle linebacker Nick Roach and strong safety Tyvon Branch – to season-ending injuries. Interim coach Tony Sparano said Friday he’s holding out hope that the 33-year-old Rogers can play despite not practicing for most of the past two weeks.

Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen is listed as questionable on the team’s injury report, making it a 50-50 chance he plays Sunday when the team travels to Houston. Allen injured his hamstring in last week’s 24-20 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, a game in which he was beaten for a 75-yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer to rookie speedster John Brown in the final minutes. ”I’m getting treatment, doing everything I can.” If Allen cannot play, second-year safety Earl Wolff would likely get the start, although Eagles coach Chip Kelly wouldn’t say that was a definite. Special teams ace Chris Maragos and rookie Jaylen Watkins could also see time, if Allen is inactive.

Another Bills QB bites the dust

Another QB bites the dust…
Another QB bites the dust…
And another gone, and another one gone
Another QB bites the dust…
Hey, aren’t you sick of this too?!
Another QB bites the dust…

After two miserable performances by starting Bills QB EJ Manuel, Bills HC Doug Marrone has seen enough and decided to bench Manuel in favor of backup QB Kyle Orton. It was one thing to lose to the San Diego Chargers…

It’s deja vu again for the Bills offense

Another week, another ugly performance by the Bills offense yesterday as they lost to the Houston Texans 23-17. It seemed as if nothing could go right for the Bills offense as it sputtered in so many areas. Texans DT JJ Watt terrorized the entire offense line yesterday as EJ Manuel could not get comfortable in the pocket. And even when Manuel did have time, he was wildly inaccurate. The Bills…

Bills take two steps forward, then one step backwards

The Bills started the 2014 season off hot with winning their first two games, then fizzled in game three versus the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers rebounded from a week 1 loss to the Cardinals to beat the defending Superbowl Champion Seattle Seahawks.

The Bills defense held the Chargers to 20 points, who had previously scored 30 points on one of the best defenses in the league a week prior….

On one the biggest opening days in Buffalo Bills history this past Sunday, the Bills soundly defeated the Miami Dolphins by a score of 29-10.
By the way the crowd at Ralph Wilson stadium was on Sunday, you would have thought this was a flashback to the 1990’s when the Bills played in four AFC Championship games. Bills fans had lots to celebrate about as their Hall of Fame Quarterback, Jim Kelly,…

Surprise, surprise…Bills win their season opener on the road

The Buffalo Bills traveled to Chicago’s Solider Field, which was the only stadium the Bills had never won a game at. It took an extra session, but the Bills finally broke their winless streak in Chicago by defeating the Bears 23-20.

The start of the game looked like so many previous Bills games as the Bills found themselves down 7-0. But, this was not the Bills of old as they rebounded from…

The 2014 season is almost upon us. In Week 1, the Buffalo Bills travel to Solider Field to face the Chicago Bears where the Bills have never won a game during the regular season.

On defense, the preseason has revealed to us fans that the run defense looks to be vastly improved, while the pass defense has been suspect. Special teams also looks to be improved from its poor rankings from a year…
